I’m Looking Forward to a Major Clutter Clearing Blast

At the end of the month, I have about 10 days off and I am planning on doing a major clutter clearing. I have been listening to and reading, “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” and the author explains how when we clear clutter it returns just a short time later.

She claims that with her method, she has no repeat clients because once they use her method…the user is so thrilled with their new surroundings (and lifestyle) and that they now understand the different between what is clutter and what brings them joy. She states that they are less likely to buy things in the future that don’t bring them joy. Interesting.

It’s an interesting book, because it becomes increasingly clear that the author became obsessed with clearing clutter at a very young age and then performed her own studies on her family about it. She has some methods that seem extreme, but I am willing try it.

Most of her clutter clearing projects end up with her clients getting rid of 20-30 large trash bags of stuff. Amazing. I’m not sure I have that much, but I will keep track of it and see. I’m looking forward to it.

It is coming at the perfect time of year and it will be nice to start off the new year fresh. I am looking forward to whatever life changes occur after this clutter clearing. Miraculous things happen after clutter clearing . 🙂
